Look it up in the dictionary and you’ll find several different definitions for the word, care. During Catherine’s difficult first few years, I created my own “definition”, due in large part to the amazing nurses I encountered as my daughter’s caregiver. They were an integral part in guiding me through the confusing maze of primary caregiving and these principles became my gold standard.

C = Compassion
A = Action
R = Respect
E = Educate

Profiles of C.A.R.E. is a quarterly feature showcasing people and businesses that exemplify at least one, if not all, of these important facets of caregiving. We’ll highlight companies that take the extra step to accommodate families with challenges. I found so many that go the extra mile and I can’t wait to share them with you.
